Job Description
Are you an experienced Proposal Manager who wants to join an evolving and dynamic organisation? Due to the success of a number of strategic programmes, we are growing our Business Development and Capture team. The job of Senior Proposal Manager is to manage the Northrop Grumman bid engine.
 
Supporting all proposal activity the Senior Proposals Manager will have direct oversight and control of the proposal process supporting the Capture Manager and bid teams in delivering successful tenders. The role is to operate from the Pre-Proposal Preparation phase through to Post Submittal of the Northrop Grumman Business Acquisition Process (BAP). The Senior Proposals Manager(s) reports to the Director Business Capture, but has a dotted-line report to the various Business Development and Capture Managers for the proposals they manage.
 
The Senior Proposals Manager will lead a team of dedicated resources that will build over time together with specialist proposal team members that come together for a particular opportunity. The role has a focus on control and ensuring timelines and content are prepared, reviewed and updated effectively in line with the bid plan.

How you will make a difference
Your experience of operating within the constraints of formal tendering processes, using procurement portals such as Award and Bravo solution, and overseeing complex document production will be vital in achieving successful tenders in the areas of cyber &intelligence, secure government, law enforcement, defence and aerospace.
 

Working across all of our customer account areas you will be responsible for bids in the fields of next generation Air Force, cyber security, ISR, Communications, Radar and Command and Control, ranging from small study or research openings to significant size and scale multi-£m,multi-year deals. The successful candidate will know how to interpret tendering instructions and recognise what is needed to create a complete and compliant submission.
