Are you a Software Engineer who wants to join a leading cyber team within an evolving and dynamic organisation?

Due to the success of a number of strategic Gloucestershire-based programmes, we are growing our Software Development team with creative and ambitious Java Software Engineers experienced in working in an Agile environment.

Our solutions support complex analysis of substantial amounts of data, requiring state of the art ‘big data’, stream processing and cloud-based analytics, identifying and using ‘best of breed’ commercial and open source technologies and integrating them with our own software to meet customer needs quickly and efficiently.

Key experience required...

  • Strong Java experience and knowledge, writing well-designed and testable code

  • DevOps automated deployment technologies such as Docker and Ansible

  • Cloud-based architectures; certification is a bonus.

  • Microservice-orientated architectures

  • Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Junit, Mockito, Cucumber, JMeter

  • Messaging and routing technologies such as NiFi and Kafka

  • Big Data technologies such as Accumulo and Elastic search
