How you will make a difference

Being a part of Northrop Grumman gives you the opportunity to use your skills to make a difference in our mission of enabling global security. You will be working across a variety of projects and programmes carrying out a number of activities that include:

  •  Working with all levels of our customers to help define and articulate their needs
  •  Working with SMEs across National Security Solutions to understand how the latest technologies and approaches can be applied to meet these customer needs;
  •  Operating as an Agile Product Owner or Product Manager to design, lead and drive change for our customers;
  • Identifying and championing internal change projects to streamline the National Security Solutions business.

 

Essential Criteria:

 
  • The successful candidate will be required to hold current UK high level security clearance.
  • Strong communication and listening skills; Operating alongside the customer, sometimes as a consultant, sometimes as an expert.
  • Interacting at various levels within NG and our customers, from senior management to operations and technical personnel.
  • An inquisitive nature, willing to challenge the status quo and looking for novel approaches to solve problems.
  • Reconciling conflicting priorities between different specialist groups.
  • For this role, you must be willing and able to hold and maintain UK Government clearances.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Recent experience supporting business process and change activities in public sector organisations.
  • Experience of UK Government working practices.
  • Experience applying facilitation, influencing and negotiation techniques.
  • An exposure and interest in emerging IT and Cyber technologies.
