Are you a DevOps Engineer who wants to join a leading cyber team within an evolving and dynamic organisation?

Due to the success of a number of strategic London based programmes, we are growing our Engineering team with creative and ambitious DevOps Engineers. With a primary focus on Linux, virtualisation and Infrastructure-as-Code, your experience will cover different technologies within an agile environment.

As an organisation, we demand constant innovation, and have immediate opportunities for expert engineers to design, develop and maintain the automated deployment of a suite of applications.

 
**Due to the nature of the role you must be willing and eligible to achieve high level Government Clearance**

How you will make a difference
You will be asked to support the team in agile development, requirements analysis, application and system deployment
 
Key criteria required...
  • Extensive experience of Linux (CentOS, RHEL) and/or Microsoft Windows Server in large corporate environments.
  • Virtualisation technologies, preferably VMWare, including vRealize suite.
  • Infrastructure as code: e.g. Ansible Terraform, Docker.
  • Packaging for package managers such as RPM.
  • Software defined networking: e.g. Kubernetes or NSX
  • Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools: e.g. Jenkins or Bamboo.
  • Configuration management tooling: e.g. Puppet, Ansible or SCCM.
  • Application monitoring, metrics, logging and alerting: e.g. ELK, Prometheus, Nagios.
  • Competent in one or more programming languages: e.g. Python, Golang.
  • Automation scripting using Bash, PowerShell or Python. 
 

Also, we’d love it if you have experience of...

  • Current UK Government clearance
  • Experience of UK Government working practices
  • Experience of configuring Cisco routers and firewalls.
  • OWASP. Familiar with the top 10 threats and mitigations.
  • STRIDE threat modelling.
