Based in Chester, Northrop Grumman are seeking a Global Supply Chain Integration Architect to be the SME for Supply Chain activity, working to design and implement a robust, effective solution for Northrop Grumman’s F-35 supply chain. 
 
This a Fixed Term Contract until June 2021 and you will be required to hold and maintain full SC Government clearance

How you will make a difference

Seconded to Sealand Support Services this role will focus on shaping & managing an optimized solution for Northrop Grumman’s F-35 supply chain. The SME will be the single Point of Contact for SSSL into Northrop Grumman for supply chain activity and assist the SSSL MD and the other partners in the successful stand up and early operation of the joint venture company. 

 

Principal roles of SSSL Supply Chain Integration Architect

  • To define and develop the Northrop Grumman supply chain strategy with ensuring alignment and contributing to the success of the overall business strategy;
  • Support the bidding requirement for additional parts / suppliers as they arise;
  • Effectively engage with each supplier ensuring the optimal supply chain arrangements in accordance with SSSL strategy & policies ensuring compliance with all UK and US regulatory requirements;
  • Provide expert knowledge on sustainable supply chain management to support the maintenance, repair, upgrade and overhaul of aircraft components including;
    • Supplier approvals, operations & relationship management;
    • Demand management including forecasting future demands;
    • Optimize spares holding addressing all elements including price, lead-times and shelf life.
    • Proactive obsolescence / DMS management;
    • Warranty; & Service Bulletins / Modifications.
  • Develop robust set of Supply Chain KPI’s & related PI’s aligned to overall SSSL strategy providing visibility and defining continual improvement opportunities
  • Provide Commercial input to the development & agreement of commercial & contractual arrangements with suppliers;
  • To support the definition of requirements for the initial provisioning and the asset management, ranging and scaling of spares and equipment to meet SSSL’s contracted performance;..
