Are you a driven administrator looking for a role within the defence engineering sector? Would you feel comfortable being responsible for keeping our warehouses stock controls accurate? Do you have experience working with different reporting/IT systems?
 
As an organisation, we demand constant innovation, and have an immediate opportunity for a Warehouse Administrator to join us in our Coventry team, home to Cutlass - a next generation unmanned ground vehicle. Cutlass was designed, developed and manufactured by Northrop Grumman in the U.K for the remote handling and surveillance of hazardous threats.
 
This is a contract opportunity in Coventry, where we would be looking at a 7-8 Month contract until the end of July-2019.

How you will make a difference

You will manage the Goods Inward process for the Northrop Grumman site, ensuring goods are receipted, checked and accurately recorded in the necessary systems.

You will also manage the storage of goods in the warehouse and maintain all records in support of the role.

Responsibilities:

  • Pick items from the warehouse when required working closely with Production Control to ensure accurate stock control.
  • Working with the Quality Department ensure any returns are updated on the system with accurate information.
  • Support the packing and shipping processes.
  • Gather information and input into relevant systems as required to enable reporting and tracking.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes.
  • Work closely with the Quality Department to ensure all records and any associated functions are maintained and accurate.
  • Carry out an annual stock take and other inventory checks as required.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment adhering to the principles of a 5S culture.  

Key criteria required...

  • Be a UK national with Security Clearance (SC) or willing to undertake the checks required to successfully achieve SC clearance.
  • Have good administrative, numeracy and IT skills.
  • Be able to develop and implement processes. Identify failures and the necessary actions to correct recurrence.
  • Be reliable, proactive, responsive and self-motivated team player with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Also, we’d love it if you have...

  • Hold an Electric counter- balance fork lift truck licence
  • Knowledge of 5S procedures,
