This role will be working on Northrop Grumman’s Forensic and Biometric Interim Capability (FABrIC), where we provide services, systems operations and maintenance.

FABrIC is a recompete of IDENT1, which provides identity management and crime scene forensic systems, which use fingerprints to provide the principal means of forensically verifying or resolving identities in the United Kingdom for law enforcement. It is a bespoke service that is a critical part of the national infrastructure for policing.

You will be a Systems Administrator who is eager to learn and has an ability to work well with change. 

You will be a self-starter who is looking to join a team in dynamic environment.

Key criteria required...

  • Experience with Solaris 8, Solaris 10, Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Experience with VMware support (e.g. Grow datastores, create datastores, ESX patching, addition of new ESX servers).

    Also, we’d love it if you have...

  • Experience with Veritas Netbackup and Zenworks.
  • Understanding of services such as DNS, SSH and LDAP.
  • Understanding of networking technologies.
