As an organisation, we demand constant innovation, and have an immediate opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to be part of  our financial shared services supporting our customers in the EMEA region.

Your experience will cover use of Microsoft packages, as well as strong administration and organisational skills.

How you will make a difference

 As our new Accounts Assistant, you will work as part of our Coventry team supporting the day-to-day activities of the enterprise shared service accounting function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in monthly close activities
  • Prepare journal entries
  • Prepare account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts
  • Support intercompany billing
  • Ensure all approved timesheets and travel expenses are posted.
  • Maintain the accurate filing of all accounting records
  • Support audit requests
  • Participate in non-recurring projects
  • Prepare and process weekly cash disbursements journals
  • Record and clear cash receipts
  • Undertake any other reasonable task as requested

Key criteria required...

  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Experience in working within a finance team
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft packages, including but not limited to Microsoft word, excel, outlook.

Also, we’d love it if you have...

  • MS Dynamics experience
  • An interest in Accounting
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
