  • Responsible for Customer Acceptance of multi-disciplinary requirements for Integrated Systems, Hardware and Software installations, including in-service support and training acceptance, and final acceptance and support to project closure;

How you will make a difference
  • Act as the Test and Acceptance Manager/ITEA Manager for a project producing and enforcing Test and Acceptance Management/ITEA plans and procedures;

  • Take responsibility for requirements and verification matrix management;

  • Understand the testing requirements of a project and design appropriate test strategies and test activities;

  • Identify and manage the production of all required Test documentation for a project;

  • Take responsibility for the design and management of a project’s system integration and test facilities;

  • Take responsibility for configuration management of test tools, test scenarios and other test data on a project;

  • Manage Customer Acceptance Testing (Factory, Site, Operational Acceptance Testing);

  • Supervise a team of test engineers carrying out test activities, ensuring they understand and comply with the appropriate published Quality processes and any additional project requirements;

  • Provide technical guidance to more junior engineers during the production of documentation and the various test and acceptance activities required by the project;

  • Act as the Principal reviewer of all test documentation, including formal deliverable documentation;

  • Take responsibility for the pursuit of best practice for software testing across the company;

  • Identify and suggest new test and fault management tools and methodologies to improve efficiency of software test practices;

  • Liaise with other test teams to minimise duplication of effort and achieve consistency of quality of testing across the business;

  • Take responsibility for maintenance of the appropriate Quality Processes and Documentation;

  • Carry out all above tasks in accordance with Northrop Grumman’s Quality System and published Software Production processes.
